“My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.” Psalms 45:1
When you think of the word ‘worship’ what comes to mind? A gathering, adoration, praise, honor and reverence? What about warfare, livelihood and gratitude? Webster defines worship as a form of respect and adoration for a deity. And while this is most certainly true, as believers we know it is much more than that. When I began to research the word from a biblical view the definition implicated it is an attitude and an act. We can not look at this display of reverence and implementation without mentioning how it must be executed, “in spirit and in truth”.
During this devotional we are going to look at the many ways to incorporate daily worship of God into our lives. We’ll look at the posture of our hearts and the motivation for our worship. We’ll uncover how we can use worship as a weapon of warfare against the pulling down of strongholds.
Hopefully when this series is complete, the way you view your worship will have changed and your relationship with God will be elevated!

Let us pray...
Abba Father,
We humbly come before you asking for your wisdom and knowledge in how best to worship and serve you in our daily lives. We ask that you break the bonds of religion and teach us how to posture our hearts for communication with you. Father remove any preconceived notions we may have and help us to learn what is truly pleasing to you. Our desire is to meet your expectations. Help us die to ourselves so you may be glorified.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
