One of the most emotional pains we can experience is that of a rejection. We all have to deal with the hurt and damage it causes us. There are various ways the sting of rejection can enter and affect our lives; through relationships, friendships, and our jobs. We become emotionally damaged, causing us to feel as if we are unloved, leaving us become broken and withdrawn. One of the deepest cuts, often come during this walk with God. Those we love would prefer for us to remain natural so that we can satisfy their idea of how they want us to be. But as believers we must know that Jesus was also rejected throughout His ministry, by people who did not believe in Him, and had no place for Him in their lives. But that did not stop Him, He continued to love inspite of the world's view of Him. He prayed for those who despised Him, Walking in the strength of the fathers love for him, increasing His faith and belief in His purpose. Like Jesus, we must continue to draw strength from a faithful God who first loves us, who will not reject us, but accept us lovingly into His fold. When we feel the sting of rejection, we must believe that God will allow us to bask in His presence and find overflow in His peace. Do not be crushed in spirit, but be lifted in the love and peace of God.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, preserve me, O Lord, from the hurt and sting that the spirit of rejection may present to me. Comfort me when the world or those I love reject me for who I am in you. Help me to embrace your will because my desires are to be pleasing to you Lord and not man. May I find solace in your love and may I find serenity in your words, may faith and belief in you increase. May I always show a reflection of the love you unselfishly give. In Jesus name

Amen
